Dee & Vana
DSTNTN was born in 2024 from a shared vision: to create a luxury tiny home experience that blends escape with indulgence, adventure with serenity. At its heart, DSTNTN is about more than just a getaway — it’s a carefully curated invitation to reconnect with yourself, your surroundings, and what truly matters.
For Dee, a decade-long career in marketing and media sharpened her understanding of the attention economy and our craving for unique travel experiences. She recognised the modern traveller’s desire for destinations that feel both secluded and connected. It’s this balance that inspired the foundation of DSTNTN. Every address is chosen for its ability to offer the best of both worlds: the feeling of being miles away from the hustle, yet close enough to savour the local culture, culinary delights, and yes, the wineries. For Dee, it’s about indulging without compromise — having your cake and eating it too.
Vana’s journey began in psychology, where she developed a deep appreciation for the importance of mindset and overall happiness. Her experiences, both as an educator and through life’s lessons, reinforced the need for moments of stillness and reflection. DSTNTN became her answer to the question: why should we sacrifice the little things to find peace? Her favourite part of every DSTNTN location? The views. Panoramic landscapes that invite you to pause and take it all in, whether from the comfort of the bed, the warmth of the shower, or wherever inspiration strikes.
Together, Dee and Vana set out to redefine what it means to get away. DSTNTN is their way of blending thoughtful design, breathtaking locations, and intentional living into an experience that stays with you long after you leave. This is more than a stay — it’s a destination where luxury meets meaning.
